Kofi Owusu's only goal gifts B. Chelsea the maximum 3 points at the Len Clay Sports Stadium

Berekum Chelsea's win against Ashgold this afternoon has sent the blues to the top of the league log with 13 points after just 5 games of the Ghana premier league played.

Goal keeper Frank Boateng's unpardonable mistake saw Ashgold going down in the 53' as Kofi Owusu was on time to benefit from the keeper's blunder, sending Berekum Chelsea ahead in the game.

Landuet's men became defensive throughout the remaining period to ensure an important victory for the 2012 Ghana premier league champions.

The blues are now the only club yet to concede a goal with the former U17 goal keeper Danlad Ibrahim keeping cleen sheets in the on going league.

Berekum Chelsea are on record to have defeated Hearts and Kotoko away in Match Day 1 and 3 respectively in the 2019/20 league season.

Match Day 5 continues tomorrow Sunday 19th January in all league centers with the top liner having to do with Liberty Professionals and Hearts of Oak at the Carl Reindorf Park.
