Both Regional and District team posed for the camera ahead of their match

The Volta Regional Forest Services Division under the Forestry Commission held its first ever out door games at the Barracks park on Thursday December 5. This was to bring together clients or stakeholders outside business engagements to enhance working relationship.

The fun games brought about an interaction with various levels of employees of the organization through games such as football, card playing, swimming and Ludo.

Speaking to the media, the assistant Regional Manager of the Forest Services Division, Mr. Anthony Saaniano indicated that, the purpose of the fun games was to socialise and to release boredom.

"We are organizing this to bring socialisation at work place, because it says that, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so we intend to socialise ourselves by having fun."

The football match between the regional office and the district ended 4-2 in favor of the Regional Forest Services Division. The man of the match went to Mr. Anthony Saaniano aka 'goal thief' after making important saves to keep his team winning.

In the swimming competition, Mr. Saaniano was again adjudged the winner having won all four sets of the race.

In the closing remarks, Mr. George Agbenowoshi, the District Manager for the Forest Services Division emphasized on the need to stay together as one institution. He encouraged the staff to work together to bring the name of the division in the region to a high esteem.
