OPARE ADDO DENIES RIFTS BETWEEN GRANT AND ODOOM

Opare Addo, Hearts P. R. O

The Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak has debunked news making rounds that, head coach Kim Grant and Edward Nii Odoom were having issues working together.

Kim Grant has been in the news lately with the issues of not meeting the needed requirements as a premier league coach. It was reported that, a decision to bring his own assistant coach was not welcome by the board hence has been asked to step aside after refusing to work with Edward Nii Odoom as his assistant.

The P.R.O in an interview with Maestro on Asempa fm rubbished such claims as false.

" Grant and Odoom are working together, Grants was appointed as head coach, Odoom has been given the role as an assistant coach, they are working together in peace. There was that excellent coordination between Odoom and Grant, whatever  Odoom will do at the youth level, the one at the top should be aware of what's going on so that, there can be smooth promotion of youth players to the senior side."

Mr. Opare Addo  in responding to the rumors that, a harsh message was sent to Kim Grant by the Managing Director, also denied the reports, insisting Mr. Moore never sent any message to the former.

" I was with Mr. Moore yesterday, I was also with Grant yesterday, there was nothing like that happened, it surprises me for one to hear Moore has sent Kim Grant harsh message, Mr. Moore will not send any harsh messages to anyone if you know Moore well."

Meanwhile, Hearts fans were earlier reported to have shown much displeasure towards the Managing Director, with the Chapters Committee seeking to petition the Board for the removal of Mr. Moore. But Opare Addo addressing the issue believes, everybody under Hearts umbrella are with one voice and there is nothing like such happening in Hearts of Oak.

" We are all one, nobody has any different voices, yes there are opinions from each quarters, but all in the interest of Hearts of Oak, we are one people as we used to be. We don't have the NCC standing on the right, we don't have the management standing on the left, we all understand the assignment ahead of us, it is only being united that can help us achieve and approach all the 36 league matches" he said.
