I ONLY WISH I WAS GIVEN TIME TO BRING SUCCESS - KIM GRANT

Kim Troyne Grant, former Hearts coach

Just after it was reported Kim Grant has parted ways with Accra Hearts of Oak, the former Hearts coach took to his social media Facebook page to confirm his exit.

Kim Troyne Grant has been the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak since 2017 under former Managing Director, Mr. Mark Noonan.

Grant fell out of favour in Hearts camp after a back to back defeat from Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea respectively.

What led to his exit cannot be confirmed, but from the grapevine source, it is speculated his defeat to Kotoko in the President's Cup and the league opener against Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium may have caused his sack.

Reacting to his exit, Grant took to his Facebook page to announce it.

" I have left my post as Director of football and head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak and would like to thank you unconditionally for the amazing support throughout this last year. "

While believing if given enough time, he could achieve more for the club, wished all involved in the club future successes.

" I only wish I was given time to bring success to this great club, which I know and believe I would have achieved the success you the supporters deserve. I wish all involved in the club future success" he wrote.
