Etoile Filante will play Hearts of Oak in a friendly in Lome, Togo. 

Accra Hearts of Oak has revealed a pre-season trip to Togo for a friendly game come 6th December.

Kim Grant is preparing his boys ahead of the league season set to start on December 28. As part of preparation, the rainbow boys have set a date with a Togolese side, Etoile Filante du Togo on December 6. The match will be played at the Lome Municipal Stadium.

The communication director in an interview with sportsbiggesthint.com confirmed the said match and indicated that, the management of Hearts of Oak pulled this through to boost the confidence level of the players.

" We will have a friendly game with a Togolese club known as Etoile Filante. This was the effort by the management which will motivate the boys and boost their confidence level ahead of the league"

It will mark only the first time Hearts have faced Etoile in their history, with the club having lost in the 1968 African Cup of Champions Cup final.
