Senegal were crowned champions of the just ended WAFU Cup of Nations after beating Ghana in the penalty shootouts .
Some notable players who made impact for their nations were selected by the Technical Committee of the competition made the cut in the best XI list.
Fatawu Mohammed, Joseph Esso of Hearts of Oak and Shafiu Mumuni of Ashgold are Ghanaian players who made the list for Ghana in the best XI of the WAFU Cup of Nations.
Host nation Senegal have also made three appearances in the list making Ghana and Senegal the only country topping the list.
