Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has made history by pulling a wholesome votes of 93 representing 79 per cent of total votes cast after third round.
The C.E.O of Dreams FC beat George Afriyie, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Amanda Clinton, George Ankoma Mensah and Fred Pappoe who pulled out from the election race after amassing just 6 votes in the first round.
George Afriyie threw in the towel by accepting defeat in the second round of the election. Per regulation of the election, a winner must attain a 50+1 votes before declaration. This took the election to the third round which saw Kurt Okraku gunning a total sum of 93 votes making him an eventual winner of the election.
It is a new dawn for Ghana football as it is expected that, the GFA president elect will according to his manifesto deliver on his promises to bring life into Ghana football.
Ghana football became a center of attraction after an investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposè brought all football activities to a halt.
Kurt Okraku and the newly elected members of the executive council will have to work hard to put Ghana on the map for a positive attraction from the world.
